Rated 2 out of 5 past JoeO from Dust Bag Design is Poor Since I outset starting using this less than 1 twelvemonth agone, the grit bag has been a pain. The slide on attachment does not lock in stably, and the bag comes off oft while sanding. This is the plastic attachment to the sander Then at that place is a round coupling of the purse to the plastic attachment that causes the bag to fall off through normal sanding operation. When sanding at full speed, information technology's all worse. The inside metal frame has now, I suppose due to the vibrations, worn a hole through the bag. This is a single signal of failure on this sander.

My just upshot with it is the dust bag attachment keeps popping off. Very annoying. Information technology came with a vac attachment, that was a nice bonus.

I don't see much of a difference between a 2.eight and the others at 3 amps. I like to purchase them two at a time while the toll is skilful. Most of the other brands have gone up quite a bit thru the electric current inflation..

Rated 4 out of 5 by inbishop from Great features and Great brand Let me start with why I bought this sander. Afterwards years in the woodworking manufacture some of our sander are getting worn out. I have bought other Metabo tools and actually happy with them. So this sander is of a neat weight and design for condolement. Enough power to sand anything we sand. A price that works with whatsoever budget. The i affair that actually stood out with me and employees is the nice ten foot long cord. Now to why its merely a 4 star rating. Although the grit collector works great at catching well-nigh of the dust if you sand in the vertical plane ( side of something) the dust collector falls off a lot. There also seems to a trouble with sanding flat horizontal surface's, the sander want's to walk or dull wobble. Nosotros have not given up on this sander as nosotros want to replace other sanders and hoping these trouble are something we can work with

Would Definitely Recommend [This review was nerveless as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool about 8 months ago and have used it to complete many projects (Desk-bound, Dining Room Table, etc.). It is a powerful sander with an adjustable speed setting, which is super helpful. The grip is very ergonomic, allowing you the ability sand four hours without much discomfort. The bag zipper works fairly well if you need to make your own woods putty with some wood gum and saw dust. Withal, I generally apply the vacuum zipper, which effectively catches all the dust. Another awesome characteristic is the long, heavy duty cord with the Velcro tie to neatly put it abroad. Finally, changing the sandpaper is a breeze and the paper itself stays adhered to the sander while in use. All in all, I cannot find a downside to this piece of equipment! I would very much recommend this sander if y'all are in the market for one.

Beats sanding by hand and really cuts down on the labor. This niggling bugger is powerful when you press downwards and apply a heavy dust paper, however delicate enough to use on the small things with a light finish. No issues with the tool, designed very well. Would definitely purchase again! Might even give as Christmas gifts to family.
